The People in Blue are a diverse coalition of stakeholders with over two centuries of incarcerated experience and a vested interest in the success of Governor Gavin Newsom’s California Model.

Our Mission:

To embody a living amends for victims and survivors of crime by creating, assisting, encouraging, and advocating for programs and spaces that produce healing within California’s prisons and institutions.

Our Vision:

To reduce harm, create safer communities, and minimize California’s need and over-reliance on prisons and institutions.
